Casa Grande East Java Appoints Ni Komang Darmiati as New Chairman

Surabaya, October 1, 2025 – Casa Grande East Java has officially appointed a new Chairman for the 2025-2027 period. The election of the Casa Grande Chairman took place on September 30, 2025, at the Grand Inna Tunjungan Surabaya. The community, which consists of General Managers of hotels in East Java, selected Ni Komang Darmiati to replace the previous leadership. Ni Komang Darmiati is currently the General Manager of Grand Inna Tunjungan Surabaya.

New Leadership and Clear Vision for Growth

In her speech, Ni Komang Darmiati expressed her gratitude and commitment to leading Casa Grande toward a stronger future. One that is more aligned with the needs of the modern hospitality industry. “I am truly honored to be entrusted with leading Casa Grande at such a critical phase. Casa Grande is a collective organization. Our strength lies within our community. Now is the time to step forward, making Casa Grande an official entity that is both professional and relevant to the needs of East Java’s tourism industry,” said Ni Komang Darmiati.

With over 29 years of experience in the hotel industry. She shared her aim to expedite the legalization process for Casa Grande. “Our primary focus is to finalize the legalization of the organization and to create adaptable programs that address the challenges facing the industry. One of these could be revitalizing Majapahit Travel Mart or the Surabaya Tourism Awards,” Komang, as she is familiarly known, stated.

The founders of Casa Grande, including Prof. Mohammad Yusak Anshori, expressed their full support and praised the strong unity among members built over time. Prof. Mohammad Yusak Anshori emphasized that Casa Grande is more than just a community. It serves as a home for hotel General Managers to share experiences, knowledge, and support.

He also expressed pride in how Casa Grande has maintained its solidarity, financial stability, and functioned. As a platform for sharing information, recruitment, and cross-promotion among its members. Meanwhile, another founder, Dr. Bambang Hermanto GHB, emphasized the importance of further strengthening the community’s unity.

“Casa Grande has already proven to be a solid and beneficial community for hotel General Managers in East Java. Now is the time for us to level up and make Casa Grande an official, professional entity,” he remarked.
